Safari Sky-garden

Shirt- H&M || Jeans- Topshop || Boots- Office (old season) || Jacket- Zara (old season).

After sleeping for a mere 10 hours over the weekend to get all my work done for deadline day on monday I was absolutely exhausted. My good friend Jessie whisked me off to the Sky Gardens just off of Fleet Street after handing in my work and despite being knackered I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The views were out of this world- you can see the whole city, the Shard and Gherkin and St Pauls included and despite being a cloudy rainy day it was incredible.

After having a mooch around the gardens, and taking plenty of blog photos, we headed back to the entrance area and sat and enjoyed a cocktail before heading off home for a well deserved nap.

I decided to wear this safari-esque shirt from H&M conscious collection. Im sure you've already seen it as every blogger about town is wearing it; but whats not to love? This mustard belted beauty is definitely going to become a regular in my day to day wardrobe, matched with either blue denim jeans and boots or a wide leg flare. What do you think?

Spring at Somerset House || LFW-end

Bomber-Zara || Fur-Zara || Navy co-ord- Topshop || Pointy flats- Topshop || Clutch- American Apparel || Hair- Hershesons.

London Fashion Weekend- It was my first full weekend off work since November, and it worked perfectly. I had LFW-end with Jessie on the Saturday and was completely plan free for the rest of the weekend. I didn't know quite what to do with myself other than procrastinate. Instead of being sensible and getting loads of uni work out the way, I thought it the perfect excuse to sit in front of the TV eating Thai takeaway and watching Gone Girl with my flat mate and a ridiculous amount of dinner date.

Anyway, back to Somerset House. Jessie took me to a place called Spring just on the outside of Somerset House and I was memorised by the clean teal interior, the mini garden-like area they have on the side of the restaurant as well as the beautiful flowers in the toilets. Hands up, I did try to take the Aesop soap and hand cream- good job they bolted them in there so well that after three or four attempts and being caught red handed by about six customers I gave up and returned to my lemon and ginger tea waiting for me next to one of their beautiful pink sofas. Next time I promise to take more photos.

Bag lust || Top Five

Bag lust || Top Five

Tortoise bag- Christopher Raeburn || Nude backpack- Whistles || Black clutch- Comme des Garcons || Blue suede backpack- Topshop || Snake skin clutch- Whistles

I've got a thing for bags at the moment. Clutch bags seem to be the main obsession. You can't beat a good old classic clutch to carry everything around day and night. I have a beautiful metallic silver one from American Apparel but next on the list is a classic black Comme des Garcons one and a coloured or textured one from Whistles; Just big enough for my cards, oyster, sunnies and phone.

As for the Christopher Raeburn tortoise shoulder bag, I am totally in love. I'm also hoping no one buys it so it goes quickly into the sale where I can snap it up.... Chances of that- unlikely.

LFW AW15/16 Favourites || Christopher Raeburn

On Tuesday at 12.30pm I sat in bed and tuned into LFW online to watch Christopher Raeburn's AW15/16 catwalk show.

With his fluro pink and grey leather tortoise bag at the top of my want list already from his SS15 collection, I was ready to add more of his pieces to my AW 'want list'. Of course, he didn't disappoint. Oranges and reds, graphic prints, metallic printed shark parkas and those knitted shark mittens......need I say more. One things for sure, when you watch his collections go down the catwalk season after season you tend to forget that all of his fabrics are sustainably sourced, something that I really admire and love and want to take inspiration from for my own final collection in my final year at uni. It leaves me with one question; if he can create such a great collection using sustainable fabrics without determining the aesthetics or style in anyway,
 why can't so many other designers?

I'll leave you on that note. There will be some more favourites from fashion week coming soon.
Happy Friday!

Sport luxe stripes

Jacket- Zara || Jumper- Topshop || Trousers- Topshop Boutique || Shoes- ASOS

Im back. Its been over three months since my last style post and its been so good to have a break. Despite worrying about whether it would be a good idea or not I feel that 2015 is a chance for a fresh start. A lot has changed for me, hence the new blog name 'So Sara'. Make sure you check the new Facebook page out, and follow me over on Instagram and Twitter (@sosarablog) for updates and little insights into my oh-so-exciting daily life.

As for the outfit, it was shot a week or two back by a good friend of mine Jessie (check her blog out here) after we had enjoyed a lovely lunch at Dishoom in Shoreditch.

Im loving giving tailoring a relaxed vibe so expect to see a more masculine influenced pieces given a relaxed edge in future outfit posts. Plus, just a heads up; the shoes are now on sale for only £17.50 on ASOS so go grab a pair, they go with everything and are so so so comfy.
