Erin Wasson. What more need I say. She sums up effortless boho chic. Normally I hate tattoos dotted everywhere but for some reason she nails it. I don't think she could do much wrong in my eyes to be honest. I have wanted to copy her peacock feather tattoo forever and so I thought it about time I dedicate a post to her.

French Connection Homeware
Photos c/o frenchconnection.co.uk
Sheesham tripod lamp, Sheepskin rug, Brass knuckles table lamp, Leaning shelves, Pitched rocking chair
It's been a while guys, and I am sorry. First year of uni has begun and so I have been concentrating on that and getting myself a part time job. Fear not, I am back.
Since going to the French Connection 'Sketch to store' event I can't stop thinking about their homeware collection. Although the collection is fairly small, and I'd say slightly too expensive for my poor student budget right now, it captures everything that I want my home to (eventually). Raw, neutral, natural simplistic design.

Paper butterflies
Paper butterflies by me
In all honestly when I saw these deep frames on a trip around IKEA I knew I had to think of a way to use them. Perfect for birthdays, christmas of even for your own home.
The paper I bought from hobby craft as well as the butterfly cutter and voila- a beautiful little centre piece for your home.
I am going to start selling these, website is in the process ( I will let you know when it is ready and add the link below) but thought I would show you them on here in the hope that it starts to get you guys in a creative mood. By all means let me know if you have any more ideas.

Victoria Beckham blue dress lust
Since New York fashion week I cant stop thinking about this powder blue dress Victoria Beckham was seen in from her new SS14 collection.
Its everything I am obsessed with at the moment. Ruffle hem, midi length, powder blue, boy meets girl. If anyone wants to buy me one feel free.

Sketch to store- French Connection A/W13
Photos taken myself on iPhone4s
Firstly, I apologise for the awful quality of these photos. I stupidly forgot to take my Canon with me and a few of them were taken by other people so we could get group shots.
I managed to sign up to the French Connection 'Sketch to store' event in Oxford Circus and was allowed to bring some friends along with me; My flatmates Clare and Gabby, my good friend Nicole who was up staying and my sister Bex.We got to look at the new collection, try as much of it on and pick our favourite one to get photographed in. Heaven.
I have to say I could have spent over £2000 easy on maybe two or three full outfits, thank god I don't have a credit card- I managed to refrain myself. Totally fell in love with this ombre floral swing dress made from layers of gorgeous soft chiffon fabric and the oh so soft fur gilet which had a streak of electric blue which, when in the light shone on it looked amazing!
Roll on christmas, I know what Santa's getting me already.

Catwalk shots
Photos c/o Vogue.com
So just a post to add to my previous; the catwalk photos of the collection. It gives you more of an insight into the whole feel. I have fallen for the graffiti prints and I hope we are going to see some of this on the high street next summer; something a little more in my price range!

STYLE IT | How to #3 | Do it like a dude

1.New Look patent loafers, 2.Asos premium leather loafer, 3.River Island black block heel loafer, 4.Topshop Perpignan monk shoe, 5.Whistles Bette patent loafer
Heeled, flat, patent or not these are my top five high street picks. Im a high street girl, I wont lie. My purse does not stretch to the designer world, but why would you need to anyway? Dressing like a dude is big this season so for those who wont dare to step out without a heel on look no further; New Look, ASOS, River Island and Topshop have a fantastic selection of heeled brogues and loafers. If like me you enjoying wearing a flat, especially when running around then why not accessorise your outfit with a statement necklace to give it an edge of femininity?
