Spring at Somerset House || LFW-end

Bomber-Zara || Fur-Zara || Navy co-ord- Topshop || Pointy flats- Topshop || Clutch- American Apparel || Hair- Hershesons.

London Fashion Weekend- It was my first full weekend off work since November, and it worked perfectly. I had LFW-end with Jessie on the Saturday and was completely plan free for the rest of the weekend. I didn't know quite what to do with myself other than procrastinate. Instead of being sensible and getting loads of uni work out the way, I thought it the perfect excuse to sit in front of the TV eating Thai takeaway and watching Gone Girl with my flat mate and a ridiculous amount of dinner date.

Anyway, back to Somerset House. Jessie took me to a place called Spring just on the outside of Somerset House and I was memorised by the clean teal interior, the mini garden-like area they have on the side of the restaurant as well as the beautiful flowers in the toilets. Hands up, I did try to take the Aesop soap and hand cream- good job they bolted them in there so well that after three or four attempts and being caught red handed by about six customers I gave up and returned to my lemon and ginger tea waiting for me next to one of their beautiful pink sofas. Next time I promise to take more photos.

House of Fraser press day SS15

Don't get me wrong, I love winter, and everything that goes with it. By the time it gets to the end of summer I am ready to laze around on the sofa on those cold icy nights, glass of wine in hand watching my favourite movie and wearing my favourite knitted jumper. But there is something equally as exciting about summer; the thought of being able to walk around in just a summer dress, or a pair of culotte, and those hot sunny holidays away that we eagerly await for throughout the year!

I was lucky enough to be invited to the House of Fraser SS15 Press day a few fridays back and I had the best time there. Greeted with elderflower cordial I quickly began making my way around the show rooms eager to see what's in store for our wardrobes next summer!

I totally fell in love with the Pied a Terre bag which you can see in the first photo, the marbled black and white effect grabbed my attention straight away and its just one of those simple pieces that would go with absolutely everything. As for the Hugo Boss black bag (second photo) and the Ralph Lauren paint splat jeans (third photo); they will be going straight on my 'to save for' list. I am tempted to try a bit of DIY with an old pair of boyfriend jeans and some acrylic paint so watch this space!!

As for Biba, they seem to have got it right too; we have seen a lot of metallic leather as of late, especially on the catwalks and their metallic leather jacket will be special edition with only a small amount made so make sure you grab one before its too late.

You can also see that I had a sneak into the Homeware showroom and needless to say it was absolutely insane; lobster print cushions as part of their nautical collection, copper trinkets, vases, and candles holders to ad warmth into a minimal room and all those necessities to really make home 'home'.

While most of you will already know, today is black Friday and cyber monday is around the corner. If you're looking for  a party dress for the Christmas season or a present for someone social look no further and click the links below...

Happy friday,

Wireless Sunday

Dress- Mango || Kimono- River Island (last year, similar here) || Brown leather tassel bag- Tenerife || Black tassel boots- All saints (last year, similar here)
Ph. Mariana

So just over a week ago I joined Mariana from The Portuguese Pink Pie at Wireless Festival on Sunday. She is a massive Bruno Mars fan so it was only right that I go along to support her and sing along too.

The whole weekend was filled with booing for me, so I kept it pretty simple with the whole outfit and opted for a breezy boho dress from the Mango sale and my trusted River Island Kimono. Thank god the kimono came along with me as mid watching Outkast the heavens opened and it became a very good temporary hair protector.

Sketch to store- French Connection A/W13

Photos taken myself on iPhone4s

Firstly, I apologise for the awful quality of these photos. I stupidly forgot to take my Canon with me and a few of them were taken by other people so we could get group shots.
I managed to sign up to the French Connection 'Sketch to store' event in Oxford Circus and was allowed to bring some friends along with me; My flatmates Clare and Gabby, my good friend Nicole who was up staying and my sister Bex.We got to look at the new collection, try as much of it on and pick our favourite one to get photographed in. Heaven.

I have to say I could have spent over £2000 easy on maybe two or three full outfits, thank god I don't have a credit card- I managed to refrain myself. Totally fell in love with this ombre floral swing dress made from layers of gorgeous soft chiffon fabric and the oh so soft fur gilet which had a streak of electric blue which, when in the light shone on it looked amazing!

Roll on christmas, I know what Santa's getting me already.

Catwalk shots

Photos c/o Vogue.com

So just a post to add to my previous; the catwalk photos of the collection. It gives you more of an insight into the whole feel. I have fallen for the graffiti prints and I hope we are going to see some of this on the high street next summer; something a little more in my price range!
