Wireless Sunday

Dress- Mango || Kimono- River Island (last year, similar here) || Brown leather tassel bag- Tenerife || Black tassel boots- All saints (last year, similar here)
Ph. Mariana

So just over a week ago I joined Mariana from The Portuguese Pink Pie at Wireless Festival on Sunday. She is a massive Bruno Mars fan so it was only right that I go along to support her and sing along too.

The whole weekend was filled with booing for me, so I kept it pretty simple with the whole outfit and opted for a breezy boho dress from the Mango sale and my trusted River Island Kimono. Thank god the kimono came along with me as mid watching Outkast the heavens opened and it became a very good temporary hair protector.

Alexa and Poppy

I'm stepping this blogging thing up a gear. Expect to see more editorial stuff and images that I just find inspiring on here.

Alexa and Poppy can do no more. Recently I have been drawn to all things white, cream or anything with a laid back boho flair. Maybe just because its summer I don't know for sure. One thing I am sure of is that I wish I was in that selfie with these too. They just make chilling in a really old convertable car and walking through fields with waist high grass that much cooler... and its already pretty cool anyway.....

Acoustics

This week I have not been sleeping, and the only thing that has made me doze off is listening to Sam Smiths insanely beautiful voice. Tell me you don't agree and I won't even believe you.

The Satellite

Dress- French Connection || Clutch- Topshop || Strappy shoes- River Island || Earrings- Ted Baker (last season) || Hair- Hershesons blowdry bar @ Topshop Oxford Circus

So here it is; the French Connection Satellite dress. Taken a few weeks ago, these photos are of my chosen outfit for Tom's annual Rugby dinner.

I absolutely fell in love with the dress while on a mad internet shopping hunt and despite never being a fan of the body-con dress, there was something a little quirky about this number, with the black white and lime sequins at the front, see through panel at the back, and a classic silhouette.

Thank you once again Mariana for your excellent camera skills ( fabulous camera) and for once again capturing some great photos for me.

Head over to French Connection now to grab yourself a bargain for all those summer weddings and parties; this one is currently on sale for just £45!

Bitter lemons

Yellow plated midi skirt- ASOS || Black vest top- H&M || Tribal necklace- Zara (last season) Similar here || Black cross sliders- H&M || White leather tribal clutch- Topshop || Watch- Olivia Burton @ASOS

The post title sums it up really. Bitter lemons. One of my favourite summer colours no matter whether it is fashionable or not. With a tan, it always looks amazing, and I was lucky enough to be given the skirt as a gift from my best girlfriends for my birthday in May. Although I have worn it a fair few times I felt far more confident with a little bit of a tan wearing it for an outfit post.

With such a flattering shape and length I felt like it needed no more than a black tank and a pair of H&M black sliders to dress it down a little and grunge it up.

Despite my sister being an awesome photographer my camera loved taking photos with the flash, not so much without so I apologise for the contrast in these photos, but I couldn't waste them and really wanted to show you the skirt.

What are your thoughts on super bright colours for summer? Whats your favourite?
