INSANITY WORKOUT DVD // Week 1

So, nothing to do with Fashion, Beauty or anything that I have blogged about before.
My boyfriend recently did his PT training and since then has been thinking of crazy ideas to test and challenge himself for personal benefit as well as to see if it helps him to make 'improvements'.

The first one is Insanity. If you have not heard of it before (I hadn't) the name pretty much describes it...it is INSANE.

Call me stupid but I have been wanting to tone up, get fit, lose weight for a while so being very naive to the idea I said I would do it too.

You workout 6 days a week and Sunday is your rest day. The work outs for the first month last about 40 minutes which include the warm up and cool down. They are non stop, high intensity...I sometimes feel like crying when I do them. I don't think I have ever been so physically pushed. I am still awaiting my dvd's from some dodgey ebayer but if you are looking for a ridiculous way to lose weight or tone up here I think this could be it.

I have decided I will be giving you weekly updates to let you know how it is going. It lasts for 60 days with a recovery week in the middle...

Progress photos will be on the way when I feel like enough progress has been made.
In the meantime do some research and maybe check it out...2kg lost from week 1, so I can't complain so far. The question is, can I keep it up until day 60?

Let us dance in the sun

Sorry it has been a while! I have finally finished work, and have been hunting for a flat and fingers crossed we have found the perfect one. I'm going to be a London girl!

This outfit here was what I like to call a 'throw it all on'. I was in a rush to get my sister to work and into town, surprisingly it kind of works. Going for the chilled boho look I have clashed some prints (nothing new there) and I have to say this is a super comfy chilled little outfit. Perfect for an English summer day where the clouds can pass by every now and then and it is a little to cold for a dress or shorts.

The top and kimono are new in at River Island, they have some great festival pieces in at the moment, and I have teamed them with my rose gold sandals from Topshop and rose gold shades from a random sunglasses stall (too long ago to remember where).
Oh and the necklace. I don't think there is much to say apart from the fact that it is absolutely stunning and I am trying to not wear it with everything.

What do you reckon? Send me your best festival outfit!

Catch you later guys

STYLE IT | How to # 2 | Colour Pop

Colour Pop

Maje mini dress from net-a-porter.com // Ankle strap high heel sandals from openingceremony.us // Zatchels saddle bag from oliverbonas.com // Thierry lasry from contactsandspecs.com // Christian dior from sephora.com

I am really enjoying the 'monochrome' look at the moment. I think it can look really sleek and simplistic and with a pop of colour it suddenly adds an edge.

More soon

STYLE IT | How to #1 | Wearing white

Wearing white

Monki Dress from Monki.com // Alexander Wang t-strap shoes  from alexanderwang.com // Limi Feu slouch purse from lagarconne.com // Marc by marc jacobs case from shopbop.com

White, white and more white. Sleek, simple, clean, what more could you want for the summer. And judging from the gorgeous weather we have been having in the UK recently, maybe we might actually be able to dress for summer...finally!

Indecisive but Iridescent

Bleach rip Lacey jeans from Topshop
Colour block shirt from Topshop Similar here
Chain necklace from Topshop
Diamante jumper from Topshop
LISSOME Ted baker shoes (sold out from Ted Baker, available at Very)

I apologise for the appalling editing of these photos. I have had a lot going on lately with work and personally and having two jobs has not been ideal for the past year! This explains why I have not blogged many outfit posts because when I am at home there is no one around to help me take photos and it's a bad excuse I know, but that is the way it is unfortunately.

I do however promise that once I am living in my new pad with my best friend Clare I will be posting a lot more frequently... I may even invest in a camera tripod to assist me.

I also have to comment on the fact there are two outfits in this post... the title kind of explains it; I was being terribly indecisive and due to the cold weather I forced my sister to go run inside to get my jumper!

The main reason I wanted to do this outfit post was to show you my gorgeous Ted Baker rose gold 'LISSOME' heels. They were bought to replace some Topshop heels which got mauled by my friends dog! Sad I know but I think the replacements are even hotter. What do you think?

Oh and I got my fringe cut back in. Takes a while to get used to it, and to style it in the morning but I reckon I will keep it for a while.

Orange obsessed

Since I was tiny I have loved orange. And it so happens this season it has become oh so popuar. I have made the most of this and have topped up on orange in the wardrobe...

Luckily a good friend of mine bought me this lush nail varnish for my birthday and I cant get enough of it. Although my nails need re-doing I thought the colour was definitely worthy of a fortnightly nails post

Strawberries and Cream

O.P.I Mod about you 15ml

For those who know me you know me well enough to never expect pastel pink nails to be part of the Sara equation...well....how you were wrong! On my last visit to the nail salon where I go every two weeks, (depending on how well the colour lasts) I felt like being a little bit adventurous, and decided to go with the flow and try and embrace the pastel trend.

I don't know what you guys think, but I am actually really happy with the result. Imagine how good it would look if I was actually tanned.

The question is what colour next; bright tangerine or a nude/beige?!

I am starting a new fortnightly post called Fortnightly nails, so make sure you subscribe to my blog by clicking on the subscription box on the right and you won't miss a single one.
